Mossey River Municipality is located on the South end of Lake Winnipegosis, is known for it’s great fishing opportunities, bird watching and pleasing views of farmland. Many residents rely on commercial fishing as a main source of income year round and farming is a plays a huge role in the Municipality. Winnipegosis is known for it’s attractive campground and beach area that holds 20 camping sites (7 of which are seasonal) and many flock to these sites in the warmer months. As you arrive to the town on Highway #20 you will see a rich, green, well maintained, 9 hole golf course.

There are many, lovely churches in the Municipality alike and the museums and monuments are attractions you don’t want to miss while passing through our appealing towns. Winnipegosis is home of Canads’s first pink Fire Truck.
